Another off shoot of the timber business has been chainsaw
carving which has led to other timber art works. I have also been commissioned
several times to create steel and stainless steel instillations and sculptures.
The Ironshirt workshop nestles in a secluded part of rural North Devon, and is well equipped with metal cutting and welding gear, which is often side lined into agricultural repair and fabrication.
Some recent projects
include building a twin axle trailer, fitting a hiab to a Bedford lorry, and
making steel A-frames for a lantern roofed conservatory.
The workshop has also been turned over to the harnessing the power of the wind, in the creation and instillation of domestic wind turbines.
